A nifty mid-century, late Mission period arts & crafts piece, a tall swirled clay vase by Ferrell Evans, before the Evans family started Desert Sands pottery in the 1940s. And, I love the green! The vase has an impressed mark on the underside, “by Ferrell, Handthrown.” Not glazed so the matte finish is soft and pleasant. The vase is in excellent old condition with very light surface wear.
