A stunning bracelet! Fine inlay of shell, jet, turquoise and coral set in silver form the detailed figure of an eagle dancer. Although unsigned, this design and structure indicate this bracelet was made by John Lucio. He was known to gently dome some of the pieces to give the whole piece texture and shape. Here, the head or mask is rounded and the turquoise pieces in the wings are higher than the bezels and the silver details add to the design and the feel of the bracelet. A gorgeous piece. The dancer is about 2 3/8″ tall x 3 1/2″ across the whole design. The bracelet is smallish size, the inside circumference is just over 5 1/2″ and the current opening is just under 1 1/2.”
The bracelet is in very good old condition with no notable damage, just appropriate wear and a little surface soil on some of the lighter pieces of shell.
