Information about when Florence was born varies but she passed away in 1996. She devoted much of her life to her art. She studied art at the Columbus College of Art and Design and trained at the Art Students League of New York. She is listed in Who’s Who in the Arts and Artists. Her work was exhibited at: Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Maryland; Bullocks Wilshire, Los Angeles; Chase Gallery in New York; the Salon de la Societe de L’Ecole Francaise at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. She was one of 15 artists selected to represent the United States in the 1971-1972 Exposition.
This is a striking abstract oil on canvas. The piece is signed in paint on the front and titled on the back with what looks like “Celeste Skies.” 21″ x 25″ framed.
