Native American beaded bag floral, 19th century


A gorgeous beaded bag!  Extremely fine work with glass tiny beads on wool.  The bag is lines with silk, silk ribbon trim and handles.  Probably Native American (Cree or Ojibwa) made for the tourist trade, I believe it is 19th century.  The beadwork is stunning, delicate and lovely.  Embroidered with seed beads, all small, some really small!  The darker green beads in the leaves are approximately 25 beads to an inch.  Small!

The wool is old but stable with some wear and light stains.  The silk top band is fragile and maintaining but the ribbon handle is fragile and breaking.  The bag displays well b
