On Hold – A great old Zuni bracelet set with a carefully inlaid knifewing kachina, set with turquoise, spiny oyster, shell and jet. My favorite parts of this bracelet are the kachina’s wings and tail. The silversmith made these of of multiple (a lot!) pieces of silver wire, cut to length and set side by side to create the texture of feathered wings and tail. Circa 1930s-1940s, no marks, in very good old condition. The kachina is 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ wide. The bracelet measures 5 1/2″ inside circumference with a current 7/8″ opening.
