Stunning old Navajo bracelet! Chunky, heavy, actual carninated silver wire with 9 old turquoise stones. Don’t know the mine but the turquoise is deep blue with dark matrix cut in early eccentric shapes. The silversmith who made this piece made this completely by hand. All 3 of the thick triangular silver wires show pull and hammer marks. The smith was skilled and careful. Hand-twisted wire surrounds the stones on the platform The small decorative silver balls that surround the center plaque, were individually made and the terminals are carefully finished. A good size with a 5 7/8″ inside circumference, current gap is 1/16.” The top platform is 1 3/8″ x 1 5/8″ stone tip to stone tip, weighs 72.8 grams. In excellent old condition with only one tiny missing silver ball on the platform, visible in the photos. A fully hand made, great old bracelet.
