Huge Mexican silver & amethyst floral brooch

Gorgeous big old Mexican brooch, pin. A layered flower with an amethyst cabochon in the center. Large footprint, this flower measures about 3 1/2″ each way. Marked on the back, “Mexico, Sterling,” no other maker’s mark. Circa 1940s, in excellent old condition, the handmade roller clasp works well.
