Gibberd was born in London but settled in Taos, New Mexico and studied with Emil Bistram. He fit in New Mexico, at home with the striking landscape and colors of the Southwest and Mexico. This book is the summary of his work from when he began painting in 1951 through a major exhibition at SAKS Galleries in Denver in 1969.
In very good used condition overall, pages are tight and clean, only several small white scuffs and light wear to the slipcover hard case. Shipping is free in the continental U.S.
